Giscard Nazon was born in 1980 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. For over ten years he attended the Holy Trinity Music School, where he learned to play the violin. Upon joining the school’s symphony orchestra - Orchestre Philharmonique Sainte-Trinité - he took great interest in composition and chose instrumental music as his main expression. His music has been greatly influenced by the works of Haitian composers Justin Elie and Ludovic Lamothe, which helped define his signature as a composer. Giscard’s music sits beyond the limits of any given genre and graciously blends elements of Konpa, Rasin, Classical, Latin and Hip-Hop music. Currently residing in Miami, Florida, he works on releasing an album and also plans to undertake further music studies.
